Media-Server rebuild: wanted to setup a RAID... but the machine doesn't have enough power cables for HDDs :(
@maxheadroom I'm at 14T for <300 ... HDD, so rotating rust, but yeah.
@wusel thats too many eggs in one metal basket ;) I wouldn't trust that much data to a single device
@maxheadroom RAID1. Coming from 2x 4x2TB-R5, somewhere the data must go to. Unfortunately, the old systems can't cope with >2TB/drive, thus the need to fade them out.
@wusel order one now. And a 1TB SSD for 39€.... this is crazy
