The Macropus giganteus or Eastern Gray Kangaroo, also referred to as The Great Gray Kangaroo, is mainly found in Eastern Australia. They are the second-largest marsupial in the world and Australia’s second-heaviest native land mammal! They reach heights up to 6’6 and weigh 37 to 146 pounds! The males can reach an amazing height of 8’7 and weigh 181 pounds! Lydekker was the largest-known Eastern Gray Kangaroo, at whopping 201 pounds and was several inches away, from being 10ft. tall!
